This month’s theme is “Above Rubies.” The selected Scripture is from Proverbs 31:10
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

I apologize for not getting a post published yesterday. We are STILL in the moving process. Actually, it is the cleaning and purging process that has taken the most time.
Yesterday, we had a bit of a reheat in the weather, but that will not stop my celebration! In cleaning and moving, I found my little fall garden stakes. I put them out in my new little flower bed. I will also be adding my new chrysanthemums today (and I will pull that tall weed in front of my Gardenia bush).
Many times, when things aren’t going the way we want, it is hard to find things to be thankful for, or to celebrate. When I was teaching kindergarten, I had one child who just had trouble writing his name. We worked and worked, and he just didn’t write his name. One day, waking the children up from naptime, I went to wake up the little boy and he had taken a wooden block from the shelf behind him and was sleeping with a crayon in his hand. On the block, in large orange letters was his name! I couldn’t be angry about the crayon on the block, because he had written his name. We had a CELEBRATION!
I try to find something to be thankful for, everyday! I want to celebrate! Today, I celebrate finding fall decor, lost weight and good blood sugar levels, air conditioning!
QOTD: What do you celebrate?
This is the 4th QP for FALL celebration! I will be sharing links today. Thank you for all the responses, keep them coming!
WOW! This is such a busy morning and I have so much to share with you!
First of all, if you haven’t gotten my blog train submission for Scrap Designers Blog Train, go to the previous post and grab that freebie, along with all of the other designers! This month’s theme is, “See You In September.”
In honor of my Fall Celebration, I am having a Fall Celebration Sale at My Memories. This week, I have the Life Bundle on sale with 50% OFF. It isn’t just a “fall” kit, but the colors of the palette certainly flatter Autumn pictures. You can visit this sale by clicking on the ad.
At my Go Digital Scrapbooking store, I have two fall kits that were previously released at MM, but are new to GDS. Those kits are also on sale until Sept. 23, also with 50% OFF! You can visit that sale by clicking on the “New Release” ad.
For those who have been commenting on my fall celebration posts, I have another QP for a “commenting bonus” to share with you today, so be on the lookout for your download link! This is what it looks like:
I love sharing. My first love is sharing Scripture and the Gospel with others. I like to share my baked goods and plants with friends and neighbors. I enjoy being able to share news, sales, pictures, and freebies with you. For our QOTD,
“What do enjoy sharing with others?”
Your comment can be in word or picture. I look forward to seeing your responses! Have a super happy, scrappy day!
This month, our theme song is, “See You In September.” If you don’t know the song or if you need a happy flash back, click on the picture to hear The Happenings singing the song:

Good morning! Oh, how beautiful this morning is!

Yesterday, we talked about what encourages us. One of the most encouraging things for me is when someone else tells me that I have encouraged them. I often share Scripture on my personal Facebook page and inevitably, someone will say, “Thank you, that was just for me today!” or I will often speak to someone in the store and drum up conversation. Many of those people have thanked me for talking to them. I love encouraging others.
Today’s QOTD:
How do you encourage others?
WOW! This first picture was taken on Wednesday morning. I mentioned the color just beginning in the trees.
Only 3 days later, and this is the same tree line this morning!
It was a nice 61 degrees this morning, when I took the dogs out. This break in the heat is amazing.
This week, my wonderful husband has been walking with me. He is such an encouragement to me. He also encourages me in the most important area of my life, my faith. I love this man so very much and I thank God for him, daily.
I am also encouraged when people interact and communicate. Sometimes, just seeing a smile on a stranger that I pass is an encouragement. It really doesn’t take much to motivate me and keep me going.
Our QOTD is: What encourages you?
Good morning (or evening, depending on where you are in the world.)
This is the second QP freebie for commenting. I used wild flower photos from my morning walk yesterday.
I will have two more QPs for commenting freebies, so you will have a full pack. All you have to do is comment on here, or on FB.
Looking back over the week, I am excited about today’s QOTD!
After a while of erratic blood sugar levels, I have started my healthy meal plan and I am getting a minimum of 10 minutes exercise each day. I started on Wednesday and yesterday, I had great sugar levels, all day. This morning, I was even of the verge of “low sugar” levels.
We have also continued working in our old house to get it ready for the market.
And in the garden, I got two hydrangeas and a rose moved from the old house to this one and put in a soaker hose to help with the watering.
Today, let’s reflect on our first week of fall celebration. Today’s Fall Celebration QOTD: What were this week’s successes?
Our Fall Celebration Question of the day is:
What is something you would like to do, try, or experience for the first time?
For me, it would be seeing New England in the fall!! This has been a dream of mine. Maybe someday, we can hook up the camper, grab some new camera gear, and head north.
This beautiful picture is from Pixabay, and I want to take photos like this.
Tennessee does have some beautiful fall scenery, and this year, I will take more photos of God’s beauty around me.
I am working on a posting freebie for those who responded yesterday, and those who respond today! It isn’t too late to get them all, just go back and post on previous questions, either here or on FB.
Have a happy, scrappy day!
