First Sunday of Advent Freebie

This year, I want to do something a bit different for my Advent Bible Study.  I have been reading Because He Loves Me by Elyse Fitzpatrick.  In her book, she emphasizes the Gospel, I mean, really breaks it down and draws attention to how we live out the Gospel in our everyday lives.  In the beginning of the book, she illustrates God’s love for us through the Gospel, and uses nothing but Scripture.  It was one of the most beautiful presentations of the Gospel I have witnessed.  I felt like it was something I needed to share this Christmas, because after all, that is what Christmas is all about:

Ephesians 1:3-6

Spiritual Blessings in Christ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.

Romans 5:19

For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.

 Romans 3:22-23

The righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Genesis 12:3

“I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Philippians 2:5-7

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.

I pray that we can begin to see the depth of Christ’s love for us through the foretelling of His coming, His Birth, Life, Death, and Resurrection, this Advent Season.  Amen

I began the Advent Freebies last year, with 3 kits, broken up and given over the course  of Advent.  This year, I have taken those freebies and turned them into larger kits, and I am giving the “extras” that will coordinate with that kit.  I have made several more elements and backgrounds and those will be available in my store for 50% OFF, tomorrow.

For today’s freebie, I have a set of Cluster Frames.  They match Scandinavian Christmas.  I hope you enjoy.  To go to the download, just click on the preview.  These will only be available for FREE until Christmas.
