Check Out This Great Community!

I am so excited and humbled to be a part of Faith Sisters.  Faithsisters.com is the home of my new store, but I am very pleased that it is so much more than a store.  This site is a group of godly designers, who love blessing others through glorifying God.

This site is a community with forums, prayer partners, challenges, scrapbooking, faith and Bible Journaling, and great resources.  In the works, beginning next month, are going to be weekly and daily challenges, freebies, and basically, something for everyone. There is free membeship to the site and forums, and it is simple to sign up!

While I a certainly not the youngest lady on the Creative Team, I feel like the new kid on the block, as I am new to designing.  I have been super busy learning a new design program, but have managed to get a few things created!

So, now to share some of my new products:

Check out Moore Blessings Digital Design Store @ FaithSisters to learn more!  I can’t wait to see you there!!

WOOOOHOOOO!  I AM SUPER EXCITED!!  This is my first blog train!  This kit is based on Acts 16:14 and is titled, “Lydia.”

This is the verse, along with verse 15 (NASB):

A woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple fabrics, a worshiper of God, was listening; and the Lord opened her heart to respond to the things spoken by Paul.  And when she and her household had been baptized, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and stay.” And she prevailed upon us.

I love the story of Lydia.  The color palette for this kit is stunning.  Of course, as expected, we have used purples.  I have also added some of the words that stood out to me, in this passage.  In the backgrounds, you will see a few of the action words that represent, to me, what a worshiper of God will do: Worship, Listen, Respond, Urge, and Prevail.  The phrase from this that really touched my heart was, “a worshiper of God, was listening; and the Lord opened her heart to respond.”

The flowers used as elements in the kit, are from my nature photography, which I have taken over the years.  I will add some of my photos in future posts, here, and in my Lori’s Own Little World blog.

I truly hope you enjoy using my kit.  Please, send layouts you make from using it. I would love to share your work with the Scrapbook World!!

One more thing, if you aren’t a member over at Faith Sisters, head over there and join in on the scrapbooking and faithbooking fun!!  You will find an online store, freebies, and challenges galore.

This was my first kit.  It has been updated and improved, and has been added to my store at Faith Sisters, for only $3.00.  The kit includes 12 12″x12″ backgrounds, 20 elements, and 6 Scriptural Word Art.  It is for PU, S4O, S4H, and is printable at 300ppi.:

Be sure and stop by the other blog train stops along the way to add to this delightful theme:

MooreBlessingsLogoHello and Welcome, to Moore Blessings Digital Design Blog.  I am so excited to begin this new journey in life.  While I am new to “officially” doing design work, I have been scrapbooking for over 20 years and have been designing what I want for my scrapbooks, to make them work for me.  After retiring from teaching for almost 20 years, and crafting for much longer than that, I decided to explore the business end of design.

Because I have a wide variety of interests in many art forms and crafts, my kits will vary, greatly.  I love nature photography, somy photos of flowers, clouds, trees, birds, and other animals, will be many of my page backgrounds and elements.  I will also offer whimsical, digitally created elements and background pages.  Another passion of mine is quilting, so I will also have many kits in country/quilt style designs.

I feel so blessed to be working with a wonderful group of Christian designers in the “We Believe Blog Train,” and each month, you can come here to get a free part of a themed kit, and follow links on the train to collect other free parts.  My first participation kit will be released on the 15th of each month.  This month’s theme is based on Acts 16:14 and is titled, “Lydia.”

I have also been accepted to be a part of the creative team at Faith Sisters.  This is an online company that offers Christian Scrapbook Kits, freebies, challenges, Bible/Faithbook Journaling, etc.  Look for future posts about releases to the Faith Sisters’ Store.
